1) Delhi Capitals
It was Delhi Capitals which kickstarted the bidding war for Chahal in the last Mega Auctions. Eventually, the team hired the services of Kuldeep Yadav. Now, they have retained him.
Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have always done well together. It will be a coup if the squad manages to get them back together. With Axar Patel also in the mix, it will be a stunning spin attack for the franchise.
2) Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians are one of the teams which targeted Yuzvendra Chahal in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction and might do it again. In the last Mega Auction, Mumbai Indians could not buy back Rahul Chahar. Hence, they had their eyes on Chahal, who had once played for them.
Now, the team will need to have an experienced spin attack again. Hence, it would not be a surprise if they target the wily leg spinner yet again.
3) Sunrisers Hyderabad
SRH have a solid core already. However, the team has a low purse and they now need to establish a solid bowling attack, especially the spin department.
One idea could be to buy someone experienced and then add some youngsters around them. SRH targeted Chahal last time around but could not nail the signing. Nevertheless, if they really want him, they can outbid and get their man this time.
