Ambati Rayudu will be a major miss at Chennai Super Kings. He was a good player in the middle order for the team. CSK will find it tough to replace him. At the moment, it looks like Shahrukh Khan would be the ideal man to replace Rayudu. However, a few fans are also okay if Manish Pandey comes onboard if CSK cannot get Shahrukh. 1) KS Bharat
KS Bharat has not played a lot of IPL cricket in recent times. This is despite the player doing well when he last got a run of games in the IPL. However, with some teams needing an Indian keeper, KS Bharat could be in demand.
KS Bharat has shown his skills against both spin and pace. While he needs to develop his power-hitting game, there is definite potential in him. Most importantly, CSK might need a good keeper if MS Dhoni’s knees do not recover well. Hence, they could target the player.
2) Karun Nair
Karun Nair is one of the surprising candidates CSK could target to replace Ambati Rayudu. Recently, R Ashwin mentioned in a YouTube video that CSK could target Karun Nair for the No.4 slot.
With a decent game against both spin and pace, Karun would be an ideal candidate for CSK. His recent form is decent and this could further help the franchise.
3) Mandeep Singh
Mandeep Singh is someone who has plenty of experience operating in the IPL. However, at the moment, his IPL career is not great. That said, it could improve if CSK signs him.
MS Dhoni is brilliant when it comes to using his players well. Mandeep has the talent and experience. If CSK do not get their main targets, Mandeep can be a good signing for them.
