RCB is in clear shortage of quality resources in the spin department. At venues such as Lucknow, Kolkata and Chennai, the team is surely going to struggle. Nevertheless, there is still an opportunity for them to pull off some deals. However, all of them will take a lot of convincing and even parting ways with some good talent. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three spinners whom RCB should target in the IPL 2024 Trade Window.
1) R Sai Kishore
Gujarat Titans will have a tough time giving games to R Sai Kishore. Noor Ahmed and Rashid Khan are likely to take up the slots in the spin department. Shahrukh Khan will also help them in this regard.
However, they will need a suitable player from RCB because the teams have utilized all their slots. GT could like a batter and if a deal is available, Sai coming to RCB will both help the player and the franchise.
2) Jayant Yadav
He is a realistic option for RCB. With Shahrukh Khan providing right-arm off-spin, Jayant might not be needed by the franchise. RCB already has Glenn Maxwell as the right-arm off-spinner. Still, any form of experience is useful for the RCB spin department.
Moreover, Jayant is someone who can play at No.7. This will help the franchise in finding the right balance. Hence, he is a part of this list.
3) Adam Zampa
Adam Zampa is one of the spinners whom RCB should target in the IPL 2024 Trade Window. With RR needing three foreign batters and a pacer in the XI, Zampa is unlikely to get a lot of games.
It would make sense for RR and RCB to exchange some foreign players. If RCB can offer someone like Will Jacks, RR might surely be interested in giving up Adam Zampa. The Australian spinner will surely be useful for the franchise, especially on turning tracks.
