
Team India have already won the ODI series against New Zealand by winning the first two games of the ODI series. The Men in Blue won the ODI series opener by 12 runs in Hyderabad to take the first lead in the series.
After that, they went on to defeat New Zealand by 8 wickets in the second game in Raipur. Rightly so, they won the series by 2-0. Meanwhile, Team India locking horns with the New Zealand cricket team in the third and final ODI.
The dead rubber is currently being played at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. New Zealand’s interim captain Tom Latham won the toss and opted to bowl first. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma, at the toss, said that they would have also batted first had they won the toss.
Umran, Chahal replaces Siraj and Shami in the playing XI against New Zealand in the third ODI
Meanwhile, in the latest development, the Indian selection committee has decided to make two changes in playing XI against New Zealand in the third and final ODI in Indore.
Umran Malik and Yuzvendra Chahal have replaced Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami in the playing XI. Team India will be looking forward to winning this game in a bid to take the numero uno spot in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Ranking.
It is a pretty good batting surface in Indore. Moreover, it also gets much better under lights. For sure, it will be a high-scoring fixture because of the short boundaries.
