It is a tricky situation for the RCB management at the moment. While fans as asking for changes in the playing XI, the management must also manage the players well so that the campaign does not derail further. Hence, a few players will have to be backed by the outfit. Here, we take a look at the list of three RCB players who must be backed despite their poor form.

1) Mohammed Siraj

After Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj is the best pacer in India currently. For a player of his stature, the current form does not reflect well. However, Siraj is a player who does well when he has confidence.

It is up to the management to offer that. Siraj’s role was a bit disturbed this season. This could also be one of the reasons why he is not doing that well. Hence, considering Siraj would be retained, the franchise must back him now.

2) Cameron Green

Cameron Green is an investment for the future. Just a few bad games must not make the management lose confidence in the highly talented cricketer.

Green is a top-class all-rounder. Not many players are available in the market right now. Assuming they would retain him, the management must back the player now.

3) Yash Dayal

Yash Dayal is one of the RCB players who must be backed despite their poor form. We cannot term Yash Dayal’s current form as ‘poor’. However, he has been inconsistent at times and that has led to his statistics not portraying a good value.

Against Mumbai Indians, Yash had to sit out. It is not sure if it was due to an injury. Nevertheless, if it was a ‘form’ issue, the management must not repeat that. Yash is a talented cricketer and has potential. Anyways, the other bowlers are not doing well and hence, it is best if Yash is backed.
