Andy Flower is one coach who likes batting depth. It was one of the main reasons why he hired Tom Curran at IPL 2024 Auctions. However, looking at the RCB squad, it could be said that the starting XI did not have a great batting depth. Having released Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel and Shahbaz Ahmed, RCB lost this advantage which they had last season. Nevertheless, some of their bowlers are doing well in this regard in the Ranji Trophy. Here, we take a look at the list of three RCB bowlers who are doing well with the bat in the ongoing Ranji Trophy.

1) Vyshak V

Karnataka needed a bowling all-rounder to step up during the Ranji Trophy. Vyshak has been doing this role well in the tournament.

While he initially started scoring cameos, he recently hit a century, as well. All of this bodes well for RCB because the team might need Vyshak for his slower deliveries and variations.

2) Mayank Dagar

Mayank Dagar is an all-rounder but his batting has not been great in recent years. However, he did well in one of the recent games in the Ranji Trophy.

Mayank will replace Shahbaz Ahmed in the RCB XI. It is important that he can contribute more than just with the ball. Mayank’s skills with the ball could define the season for RCB.

3) Yash Dayal

Yash Dayal is one of the RCB bowlers who are doing well with the bat in the ongoing Ranji Trophy. In all probability, Yash Dayal will share the new ball with Mohammed Siraj in IPL 2024. Hence, he could play most of the games.
