Reece Topley is very vulnerable to injuries. He has been ruled out of the upcoming Pakistan Super League. It would not be a surprise if he missed out on IPL 2024, as well. He was a key member of RCB. The franchise must already plan for potential replacements in case the English pacer misses the competition. On that note, here, we take a look at three players whom RCB could sign if Reece Topley gets ruled out of IPL 2024.

1) Jamie Overton

Jamie Overton would be the right pick considering the philosophy brewing at RCB. Under Mo Bobat and Andy Flower, the team would like to have some extra batting depth. Hence, they had signed Tom Curran. However, barring Curran, they do not have other options to achieve this.

Overton has been in fine form in recent months. His hitting ability has also developed. Plus, he has played under Andy Flower before. Therefore, he could be in contention to join RCB.

2) Kwena Maphaka

Kwena Maphaka is one of the players whom RCB could sign if Reece Topley gets ruled out of IPL 2024. RCB would prefer a middle-overs enforcer for the overseas pacer spot. Hence, Topley might not have made it to the XI.

Therefore, the franchise can take this chance to sign a future superstar. Kwena Maphaka was excellent at the U19 World Cup and impressed many. If securing him is possible for RCB, they should go for it because if there are no mega-auctions in the future, it would be a great decision.

3) Adam Milne

There is a reason why Adam Milne could be considered for RCB. The franchise picked hit-the-deck bowlers at the auctions and they could load the attack with one more option.

Especially with two bouncers allowed in an over, Milne would be a decent pick for the side. Hence, he is on this list.
