Royal Challengers Bangalore are in need of some influx of fresh air into the franchise. Especially on the domestic side of things, the team does need some strong recruitment. While middle-order batting would be the priority, a few spinners and pacers will also help the outfit. They could pick a few of them from the recently concluded KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy, which is the regional-based competition of Karnataka. On that note, here, we take a look at three performers from the KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy whom RCB can target for IPL 2024.

1) KL Shrijith

393 runs at an average of 49 and a strike rate of 141 in 11 matches

KL Shrijith announced himself with some fine knocks a few seasons ago. However, he was not able to capitalize on this form.

Nevertheless, he is back to doing well. The left-hander is a wicketkeeper and can also play in the middle-order. RCB needs some good options in this regard. Hence, they can target him.

2) L Manvanth Kumar

22 wickets at an economy of 7.82 in 12 matches

L Manvanth Kumar is one of the performers from the KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy whom RCB can target for IPL 2024. With his performance in the final, Manvanth certainly caught the eyes of many. If he gets a chance to play in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he might be in for a better platform to take his game to the next level.

A bowling all-rounder, Manvanth has a lot of variations in his bowling. Such versatile players would always be helpful. RCB can look to hire him to strengthen their all-rounder department.

3) Shubhang Hegde

228 runs and 12 wickets in 10 matches

Shahbaz Ahmed was in poor form in IPL 2023. While RCB might not release, they can plan a backup for the West Bengal all-rounder.

Shubhang has been an intern at RCB before. A left-arm spinning all-rounder, this former India U19 player has a lot of potential. His recent form is good, as well for the franchise to notice.
