Both QDK and Gurbaz were not great for KKR in IPL 2025. Also, they did not have an Indian option. Hence, they must fix this at the earliest. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three options KKR might consider for the wicket-keeper role in IPL 2026.

1) Jonny Bairstow

Mumbai Indians cannot retain Jonny as he was a temporary replacement. In the few matches he played, he looked to be back in form. Hence, KKR must go after the English veteran.

2) Ben Duckett is one of the options KKR might consider for the wicket-keeper role in IPL 2026

The flashy opener from England could emulate the role done by Phil Salt in IPL 2024. He is also a left-hander, and that might not go well with the opening combination with Sunil Narine. However, since Ben plays spin well, he can be useful. He is a part-time keeper.

3) Angkrish Raghuvanshi

In the recent Mumbai T20 League, the youngster kept wickets. He is a fine batter and a talent for the future. Since KKR already has services, they must trust him with the gloves, as well. A few mistakes could happen, but in the long run, they would have a solid asset.
