1) New Zealand
Gary Stead has held the role for a while now. However, in the 2024 T20 World Cup, he was not good at helping the Kiwis do well.
Also, with a new generation of players coming through, New Zealand would want a new coach with fresh ideas. Trott fits the bill perfectly for New Zealand. For the coach, as well, helping the Kiwis win a white-ball trophy could be a good challenge.
