Note: Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan will join the squad ahead of the second match.

1) Ishan Kishan

Ishan Kishan was left out of the contract and the Indian Team due to other reasons. However, he is now back to the setup. If he can do well, he could even earn a spot in the senior side, although that is very hard because of Ishan Kishan’s presence.

2) Karun Nair increases his comeback chances with selection to India A

Karun Nair last played for India a long time ago. Usually, such a comeback does not happen. However, with his presence in the India A squad, Karun is all set to be a part of the senior side, as well. He could even get a few games against England.

3) Shardul Thakur

Actually, India struggled without the balance that he usually brings to the table in Australia. Now, Shardul will be key for India’s success in England, especially he is now in good form.
