1) Lucknow Super Giants
LSG is unlikely to get back KL Rahul. At the same time, they will need to find a good replacement for Devdutt Padikkal at No.3. Nitish Rana, who is an excellent player of spin and a spinner himself, will add great value to the side in this regard.
Nicholas Pooran is likely to be the next skipper of the side. LSG will need an Indian who will have to be a deputy to the West Indian cricketer. Rana fits the role perfectly here. Therefore, LSG could go hard for the 30-year-old cricketer.
2) Royal Challengers Bengaluru
RCB is one of the franchises which could target Nitish Rana in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. RCB lacks a left-hander in the top-order and this has been a problem for a while now.
It is necessary that this option has to be an Indian player. Therefore, Nitish Rana could be of interest to RCB. Venkatesh Iyer is also another choice for the side.
3) Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals could be in need of someone experienced at the top of the order, especially if they do not get Rishabh Pant back. Considering the crunch for such players, Nitish Rana could be a definite option for the side.
Rana hails from Delhi and has himself played most of his life at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. While this knowledge will help, Nitish’s all-round values will also add balance to the side.
