As per reports, Yuvraj Singh has been approached for the role of the Head Coach at Delhi Capitals. Recently, the franchise parted ways with Ricky Ponting. Ever since then, there have been numerous reports on which former cricketer would take up the role. Interestingly, back in 2015, Yuvi was a part of the Delhi side. He had a decent stint with them. Some of his teammates back then are in a good situation now and he can target them. Here, we take a look at the list of three former teammates at Delhi whom Yuvraj Singh could target if he becomes the Head Coach of DC.

1) Mohammed Shami

If there are limited retentions, Gujarat Titans may not be able to retain Mohammed Shami. Therefore, he could go under the hammer.

DC would ideally need a lead Indian pacer in the side. Mukesh Kumar is doing well but his experience is not enough. It was at Delhi that Shami showed his skills first. Hence, Yuvi could target him and build the bowling attack around him.

2) Marcus Stoinis

Stoinis is one of the former teammates at Delhi whom Yuvraj Singh could target if he becomes the Head Coach of DC. The Australian all-rounder has been in fine touch.

While Tristan Stubbs must be the finisher for the future, there might be the need of a player in the transition period. Stoinis has had two stints with Delhi and could fit in straight within the setup.

3) Mayank Agarwal

He might have had a few rough seasons in the IPL but because of his experience, he can still be a good signing for most teams. Mayank is aggressive as an opener and is also excellent against spin.

If not as a started, as a backup, he would be the ideal team man to have. He is also a decent fielder and would surely add value to the setup.
