The Australian influence at SRH worked big-time for the franchise in IPL 2024. Daniel Vettori, the assistant coach of Australia, did a fantastic job as the Head Coach. Then, he hired the likes of Pat Cummins and Travis Head, who were also instrumental. The team could further target a few more Aussies in the coming seasons. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three Australian players SRH could realistically target in IPL 2025 Auctions.

Note: The list is comprising players assuming they would be released by their respective franchises.

1) Marcus Stoinis

Marcus Stonis has been in terrific touch both in the IPL and for Australia. That said, LSG may not retain him because of his age and also the fact that the pitch at EKANA might not suit his strengths. Hence, Stoinis could go under the hammer.

SRH needs a finisher who can come after Heinrich Klaasen and do the job. An additional bowling option will also help the team. Hence, Stoinis can be an excellent target for the side.

2) Mitchell Marsh

Mitchell Marsh is one of the Australian players SRH could realistically target in IPL 2025 Auctions. Aiden Markram did not do well at No.3 for SRH in IPL 2024.

If Marsh is in the auctions, SRH can target him to do the job. He would be a top option for this role. Marsh has also played for SRH in the past. His bowling and captaincy experience will also add value to the setup.

3) Adam Zampa

It is clear that the spin department is one of the weaknesses of Sunrisers Hyderabad. If they can somehow work on it, they will be a proper force in all the departments.

For this very reason, they could target someone like Zampa. He is a very under-rated spinner, despite doing well in the white-ball formats for a while now. With him in the team, SRH can exercise better control in the middle overs.
