1) Opening the bowling with a spinner is one of the tactical changes KKR must make
KKR‘s next game in IPL 2025 is against SRH. Having an opening bowling combination of Spencer Johnson and Vaibhav Arora could be risky for the defending champions.
In this regard, KKR could use one of their spinners to tackle the power of the SRH batting line-up. If an early wicket falls, SRH could be defeated at the Eden Gardens. Hence, Sunil or Varun might help with the new ball.
2) Promote Andre Russell ahead of Rinku Singh
Rinku Singh has not been able to do well in IPL 2025. It was a good chance for him to make a statement in the game against the Mumbai Indians. However, he failed again.
Sometimes, having a clear mindset could help. Just asking Rinku to go after the pacers is a good strategy. With his experience, Russell should do better at around overs 14-16. Therefore, he can come up with the order.
