Royal Challengers Bangalore had quite a few injury problems in IPL 2023. While Rajat Patidar got ruled out for the entire tournament, the likes of Josh Hazlewood, David Willey and Reece Topley had different fitness problems. It appears that a few of the players from the franchise are also having a tough time at the international level. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two RCB players who have been ruled out of the 2023 ODI World Cup.

1) Wanindu Hasaranga

Arguably the most important player for Sri Lanka in the 2023 ODI World Cup, it is a big blow that Wanindu Hasaranga will not play in the event. The tournament was happening in India. He had a great chance to leave a solid impact and help his team win a few games.

However, Wanindu has been on the sidelines for a while and he will now miss the mega event. The fact that he has been in good form further will irritate the Sri Lankan fans, who have had many injury issues off-late. Now, the onus will be on the likes of Maheesh Theekshana to lead the spin attack. It will be a tough challenge but the youngster has the experience to make it count. Before that, he should also recover from his own injury issue.

2) Michael Bracewell

Michael Bracewell is one of the RCB players who have been ruled out of the 2023 ODI World Cup. Achilles injury is the reason why Bracewell was ruled out of the tournament. He was one of the first names that had to join this unfortunate list.

If he was available, he would have been a top option for the Kiwis in the lower middle-order. At No.6 or 7, he would have been the perfect batter. He is also a top right-arm off-spinner and this would have further helped the team.
