In the latest news announced by the Kolkata Knight Riders, Nitish Rana was announced the skipper in place of injured Shreyas Iyer. Iyer is still not confirmed whether he will be able to make a comeback or not before the IPL comes to an end.
The fans, however, weren’t particularly happy with the decision of Nitish Rana being appointed as the captain and believed that the team actually had better resources who could have done the job better as the leader of the side that has been struggling for the last year. The Caribbean mystery man has now been a prolonged part of the Kolkata Knight Riders and if truth be told, given his prowess both with the bat and the ball, he is almost an established regular in the echelons of the Knights.
