Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal

One of the opening combinations that India can try in Tests against West Indies is they can bring Yashasvi Jaiswal to open the innings at the top alongside Rohit Sharma. This will allow even Shubman Gill to flourish in this format and he can bat at No.3. Opening with Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal will allow the team to have the left-right combination for the team, which can be tricky for the opposition as well. Also with Rohit Sharma being the senior will allow young Yashasvi Jaiswal to take the right decisions and play well. The southpaw has been scoring truckloads of runs for the team in the domestic circuit and would be looking to set the stage on fire at the international level as well.

Another opening combination that India can try in Tests against West Indies is they can open with Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal, keeping an eye on the future. Both of these batters are really free flowing and can help the team get a flying start with the new ball. Rohit Sharma can shift himself to 3 and this can help the team have a mixture of youth and experience. With management looking to shape the team for the future, this can be a great move going ahead
