Just a few years could change the fate of a cricketer in the IPL. While someone like Harshit Rana graduated from being a net bowler to an IPL champion, a few had to take the route in the opposite direction, as well. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two former IPL players who are net bowlers in IPL 2025.
1) Avinash Singh
He was picked by RCB a few seasons ago. Hailing from J&K, his pace was said to be one of the reasons why the RCB management was impressed with him.
However, he did not get a game. Later, he travelled to KKR as a net bowler. Now, he is a net bowler at CSK. If he does well at the nets, he could get a chance in the upcoming seasons.
2) Sakib Hussain is one of the net bowlers in IPL 2025
Sakib Hussain is one of the former IPL players who are net bowlers in IPL 2025. He won the IPL last year with the KKR squad.
Now, a year later, Sakib is a net bowler on the KKR squad. He is a talented fast bowler. The Bihar cricketer is surely going to get a chance at the highest level soon.
