Chennai Super Kings have time and again proved that they are the top team in the history of the Indian Premier League. They have won four IPL titles and qualified for the playoffs 12 times, which is more than any other team in the tournament.

The yellow army that failed to beat Gujarat Titans in the first three meetings in IPL finally got off the mark this time around. Their comeback against Gujarat Titans couldn’t have been better.

Chennai Super Kings got the better of Gujarat Titans and made it to the 10th final, which is more than any other team in the IPL. It remains to be seen how they approach the final encounter at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in a bid to lift the fifth title.

Gujarat Titans won the toss and opted to bowl first at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Batting first, Chennai Super Kings posted 172 for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted quota of 20 overs.

Ruturaj Gaikwad top-scored with 60 off 44 balls including seven fours and a six. In response, Gujarat Titans were nowhere close to chasing down the target as they ended up losing the game.

Chennai Super Kings beat Gujarat Titans by 15 runs and then made it to the 10th final. Ravindra Jadeja was the pick of the bowlers for CSK as he registered 2/18 in his quota of 4 overs.
