Former India U-19 cricket team player N Tilak Verma has expressed his desire to win a match for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2022 season against the Chennai Super Kings. The rivalry between MI and CSK has entertained fans across the world, and Verma wants to etch his name in history with a big moment in the MI vs. CSK rivalry.
Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings joined the IPL in the year 2008. Since then, a total of 14 seasons have happened, with nine of them ending with either MI or CSK as the champions. In fact, no team apart from MI and CSK has won the IPL championship since the year 2016.

“I have admired MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja for a long time, so doing well and winning a match for MI against them will give me great confidence,” Tilak Varma said in an interview with the Mumbai Indians.

Tilak Verma received his maiden IPL contract from the Mumbai Indians at the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. If the young batter gets a place in the playing XI, he will have minimum two chances to meet his target of winning a match against the Chennai Super Kings in the 2022 IPL season.
