Meanwhile, the recently-concluded game between Portugal and Uruguay turned out to be an interesting and intriguing fixture as both teams literally had their fair share of opportunities to score goals.

However, it was Portugal that had their players cut out for converting their chances in the form of goals. During the 54th minute of the game, Bruno Fernandes chipped the ball high in the air, which was travelling towards the goal.

Meanwhile, legendary footballer Cristiano Ronaldo timed his jump to perfection in a bid to make a connection with the ball but might have probably got a feather of touch before actually beating the goalkeeper for a goal.

While some of the fans in the football fraternity claim that Ronaldo didn’t get a touch, there were others who claimed that Ronaldo did get a touch. Meanwhile, England cricketer Chris Woakes reacted to the controversy by saying that there would be a flat line in the snickometer. 

On the other hand, the popular cricket website, ESPNcricinfo also reacted to the controversy by saying, “is it the umpire’s call on DRS?”.
