India batter KL Rahul has come under a lot of scrutinies after bagging another failure in the longest format of the game. After he bagged a low score in the first game, it was expected that he would make a comeback and score big in the next game.

But this wasn’t the case as the right-hander was dismissed for another low score in the second Test in Delhi. After India bundled out Australia for 263 runs, skipper Rohit Sharma yet again looked settled and along with Rahul stitched 46 runs for the opening partnership.

But he didn’t get the desired support from Rahul as he kept blocking the ball and looked utterly defensive. He fell prey to Nathan Lyon, who bowled a tossed-up delivery on the middle that turned in a tad.

Rahul got forward to defend and his bat got stuck a little next to the pad as he missed the ball. He was trapped in LBW for 17 tuns and went back to the hut without a big score. Notably, the right-hander has been under a lot of scanner for his poor performances of late and this dismissal can hamper his further chances in the game.
