Chennai Super Kings are locking horns with Lucknow Super Giants in the sixth match of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. The game is currently being held at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

Lucknow Super Giants captain, KL Rahul won the toss and invited MS Dhoni and Co to bat first. Chennai Super Kings got off to a scintillating start to the game in the form of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway.

Both the batters added a sensational 110-run partnership for the opening wicket before Ravi Bishnoi dismissed the dangerous Gaikwad for 57 off 31 balls including 3 fours and four sixes.

Shivam Dube hits the longest six of IPL 2023

Surprisingly, CSK’s team management sent Shivam Dube at No.3 and the left-handed batter played a quick cameo where he struck 27 off 16 balls with terrific shots.

Shivam Dube initially took time to get going. After facing some deliveries, he decided to launch a counterattack as he chipped in with three sixes and a four at a strike rate of 168.75.

During the game, Shivam Dube hogged the limelight after he struck the longest six of this season. He targeted Ravi Bishnoi in the 14th over wherein he cleared his front leg and thumped it over wide long-on.

Ravi Bishoi bowled the googly but the length was too short and paid the price. Shivam Dube launched the ball into the stands with a 102 m six. Dube was en route to a fine inning but was dismissed by Ravi Bishnoi after failing to time the ball.
