As of Game 3, the series is tied 1-1 and taking place in Chennai. Hardik Pandya responded well to the pressure once again and helped India get back into the game.

Hardik Pandya delivers against Australia yet again

Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh put up another magnificent opening combination to help the visitors get off to a blazing start. But, Hardik Pandya ended it in the 11th over when he dismissed Travis Head for 33 runs. Together, Head and Marsh scored 68 runs as Australia’s opening pair.

With his following over, Hardik Pandya strikes again, this time removing the Australian captain for a duck. With a breathtaking opening period, the Indian vice-captain got his team back into the game.

He then came back to dismiss Mitchell Marsh and picked up three wickets. Hardik Pandya now has a batting average of 56 and a strike rate of 112.95 against Australia in ODIs. His bowling average is 31.09 and he has picked up 11 wickets against Australia in ODI.
