Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has named the teams that will make it into the semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2022 from Group B. He believes that only one between India and Pakistan will qualify whereas South Africa will be a certain pick for the knockout stage.

The T20 World Cup 2022 is just a finger-count away from now. India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh and two teams from the qualifier stage will form Group B. Two among India, Pakistan and South Africa will likely head into the further stage of the tournament from this group as they have a quality side and also are favourites.
India and Pakistan will begin their campaign in the opening game of Group B on October 23rd in Melbourne. The last time they faced in the T20 World Cup clash, the Babar Azam-led side thumped the Men in Blue by 10 wickets and went on to reach the semi-final. Whereas India suffered an early exit from the tournament.
Both the arch-rivals also have South Africa in their group and it wouldn’t be easy for them to conquer the Proteas as they are rated among the best T20I teams and can upset fans of both teams.

Aakash Chopra believes that South Africa will make it into the semi-final and give a nod ahead to Pakistan, he said that whoever wins the clash between India and Pakistan, will be the second team to qualify for the knockout stage from Group B. Speaking in a video posted on his YouTube channel, he said:
“Two teams out of India, Pakistan and South Africa will go ahead. They (Pakistan) should reach the semi-finals but it will not be easy. I am saying only one out of India and Pakistan will make it. Whoever wins the India-Pakistan match will make it, I feel South Africa will make it.”
Haris Rauf will be X-factor for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2022
Pakistan’s bowling lineup could threaten any opposition. Shaheen Afridi will be making a comeback from the injury and also Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah will also be there.
Chopra feels that Haris could even surpass Afridi to become Pakistan’s leading wicket-taker in the series. He said:
“Everyone will say Shaheen Shah Afridi will take the most wickets but I am saying Haris Rauf will do that. Haris Rauf has very bright chances of taking the most wickets.There could be a terror of Haris Rauf as he had started his career here only, he had come as a net bowler in the BBL (Big Bash League).”
Haris Rauf since the beginning of Asia Cup. 22 wkts at an avg of 19.5, ER 7.68 and SR 15.3.
In the PP in this period, he has picked 9 wkts at an avg of 18.7 with an ER of 7.05.
