Ben Stokes was one big name that was missing in IPL 2022. The English all-rounder was still in a break and he was making a comeback in the Ashes at the end of last year. So, he did not register for the auctions. Moreover, his intention was to focus on Test cricket and hence, he did not play in IPL. Since then, Stokes has become the captain of the England Test Team and has also improved the squad and its performances. In this context, there are reports that he will participate in IPL 2023.
Apart from Stokes, some other popular cricketers will also play in IPL 2023. The likes of Sam Curran missed out on last season due to injury. In recent months, players such as Cameron Green and Rilee Rossouw have impressed all with their performances. They are all set to enter the next bidding event.
