The reigning champions of the Asia Cup are prepared for the next competition; nonetheless, the whole squad will need to get over their jitters before competing in the World Cup. On October 23rd, India will open their campaign for the Twenty20 World Cup against their most bitter rivals, Pakistan, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
“I believe it’s a fantastic environment, playing at the MCG because it’s one of the most famous cricket stadiums in the world. Consequently, I really want to play there. Particularly beneficial for us is the presence of an Indian audience there,” added Pant.
