Lucknow Super Giants’ paceman, Mark Wood echoed that he experienced the loudest noise when MS Dhoni hit two sixes at CSK’s fortress, “Anbu Den” or the Chepauk Stadium.

CSK skipper got a rousing reception after CSK returned to Chepauk after a long gap of 1427 days. Mark Wood added that the noise when MS Dhoni came to bat and smacked those two sixes was surely the loudest he has played in front of in his career.

Chennai Super Kings started their IPL 2023 campaign with a defeat over Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

After a defeat in the first game, CSK went on to defeat Lucknow Super Giants by 12 runs as they opened their account with a win. CSK will take on MI in the next game on April 8, Saturday at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
