Mumbai Indians are locking horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 25th match of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. Moreover, the game is being played at Rajiv Gandhi international stadium in Hyderabad.

Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Aiden Markram won the toss and invited Mumbai Indians to bat first. The five-time IPL champions got off to a splendid start to the game, courtesy of Rohit Sharma’s classy hitting abilities.

The MI skipper missed the previous game due to a stomach bug but came to play for the team as an impact player against Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Talking about the current game, Rohit Sharma got off to an electrifying start and helped the team tick the flow of runs. The MI captain dominated the proceedings by hitting a flurry of boundaries to his name.

Needless to say, he didn’t stay long at the crease as he fell prey to T Natarajan’s delivery in the fourth ball of the fifth over of Mumbai Indians’ innings. Fans were a bit disappointed upon seeing Rohit Sharma throw his wicket away after a spectacular start.

The senior cricketer scored 28 off 18 balls where he composed his innings with the help of six boundaries to his name at a strike rate of 155.56.

Rohit Sharma’s best batting performance was observed during the game against Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. He scored 65 off 45 balls including six boundaries and four hits over the fence and was named the Player of the Match.
