Mohammad Rizwan is undoubtedly one of the most impactful and responsible wicketkeeper-batsman that Pakistan has had in a long while. He is brilliant behind the wickets and he is also a top level batsman. Although he failed to perform in the same way in the T20 World Cup 2022, Mohammad Rizwan has consistently saved Pakistan from humiliations in so many back to back tournaments and he has also been one of their main reasons for success. However, that does not mean that the man is without flaws and their is a big flaw or bad habit that Mohammad Rizwan has recently picked on while wicketkeeping.

It is quite understandable that wicket keepers or rather any fielding player tends to appeal to the wicketkeeper after a close lbw or caught behind call. However, Mohammad Rizwan has taken it way too far. Since the Asia Cup 2022, he has literally been celebrating every single time he gets hold of the ball – so that’s way too many times in a single match and that has started to annoy fans lately.

Many a fans troll Rizwan on a daily basis for them. Some of them joke that someday he will even start claiming for a dismissal on boundaries and the way he is carrying it on, it is a possibility to be honest.

Recently, after the final match between England and Pakistan wherein the English side won and lifted the T20WC 2022 trophy, a particular fan said: “One day I want to see Rizwan throw the ball in the air in a fake celebrappeal and the batters run a bye.”

Talking about the big final, England won the match by 5 wickets and thus lifted their first ever T20 World Cup trophy. Pakistan batter first and scored a mere total of just 137 runs. That, obviously, was not enough and England chased it with an over left.
