However, RCB surrendered at the hands of Rajasthan Royals in the second qualifier. Meanwhile, as per the latest update, RCB all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is fit and has even returned to domestic cricket.

The immensely popular all-rounder fractured his leg soon after Australia’s shocking exit from the T20 World Cup 2022 tournament. Maxwell broke his leg after he accidentally slipped at a friend’s party. As a result, he had to undergo surgery and has been in the recovery phase for the next three and a half months.

The Australian all-rounder is getting back to 100% fitness in the wake of his horrific accident post the T20 World Cup 2022 tournament. The all-rounder himself said that he is 80% fit.

The Australian international returned to competitive cricket in February. Plying his trade in the Victorian Premier League currently, he scored 61 runs to his name.

After that, he got selected for the Sheffield Shield. This will help him get back the rhythm before the sixteenth edition of the Indian Premier League. Maxwell’s return is a much-needed boost to RCB fans.

In an interview with Fox Sports, Maxwell said he was involved in morning sessions, gym, pool sessions and physio. The Australian all-rounder even stated that he is indeed proud that he is playing some cricket now.

Glenn Maxwell might as well be in contention for the three-match ODI series against Team India since he has nearly attained fitness levels. The first ODI between India and Australia will be held on March 17 (Friday) at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
