Glenn Maxwell takes a sensational catch to dismiss Martin Guptill

New Zealand was off a slow start as Australian pacers Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood made life tough for the Kiwi openers. The pacer bowling duo bowled exceptional lines and lengths and gave a great start to their team.

But their exceptional pace bowling was overshadowed by Glenn Maxwell’s brilliance in the field. The all-rounder took a blinder to send Guptill packing for 6 runs in 19 balls.

It was during the fifth over when Starc bowled a good length delivery that took the outside edge of Guptill’s bat and the ball went towards the off-side, wide off backward point. Maxwell, who was stationed there, then put in the perfect dive towards his left and grabbed the ball with one hand.
