Cameron Green shines for Mumbai Indians

The young all-rounder who is considered the next big thing in Australian cricket, made his presence count on the pitch. He assessed the conditions quite perfectly and made use of the conditions to better effect.

In the process, the youngster went on to notch up his maiden IPL fifty. He brought up his landmark in 33 deliveries and it was an innings that would be so special to him since it is his first fifty in India’s premier T20 competition.

As it turned out, he was the pick of the batters for the Mumbai Indians. In the end, Cameron Green scored 64* off 40 balls where he constructed his innings with the help of six boundaries and two hits over the fence at a strike rate of 160. Mumbai Indians posted 192/5 in 20 overs.
