KL Rahul has been in top form when playing against five-time champions Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He became the first player to score two centuries against the same team in IPL 2022 last night while leading the Lucknow Super Giants against the Mumbai-based franchise. Rahul lost the toss and received an invitation to bat first.

The Lucknow Super Giants started slow. Most of the LSG batters struggled to get going, but KL Rahul accelerated after settling down in the middle. Even though his partners lost wickets at regular intervals, he held one end and remained in the middle till the last ball. Rahul ended with 103 runs on the board.

LSG went on to win the match by 36 runs. Rahul was adjudged the Player of the Match, and he also won five other awards at the post-match presentation.

When Harsha Bhogle asked him about the awards he won along with the prize money for them, Rahul gave a cheeky response and said:
