India and South Africa are currently involved in a game at the T20 World Cup. The match is happening at the Perth Stadium in Perth. Indian opener KL Rahul could not perform well and got out early. Here, we take a look at how Twitter reacted as KL Rahul performs poorly yet again in the T20 World Cup.

KL Rahul fails yet again in the T20 World Cup

There were a lot of expectations from KL Rahul in the tournament. However, the opener has failed in each of the three games for India so far. In all these matches, he is yet to cross the powerplay. Against South Africa, he got out for nine runs in 14 deliveries. He played out a maiden over in the first over. Overall, India had a disappointing start and KL Rahul was mainly responsible for the same.

The management could consider dropping KL Rahul for the next games. In Rishabh Pant, the team has a good option as the replacement for KL. Yes, he might be the vice-captain of the squad but KL Rahul’s form is such that it is not worthy of including him in the XI. On the other hand, Pant is a big-game player and being a left-hander, he would give variety at the top of the order. Dinesh Karthik, at times, struggles behind the stumps and Pant can fix this problem, as well. The other option is to include Virat Kohli as the opener and have Rishabh Pant in the middle order. Hence, Rahul Dravid and co. could drop KL for the next match.

Twitter disappointed with the Indian opener

KL Rahul has been the most trolled player in recent times for Team India. After performing poorly against South Africa, Twitter did not waste time in criticising his performance and questioning his place in the XI. Here are some reactions from Twitter in this regard:
