Hardik Pandya posted on his various social media channels on Sunday, just after India sealed a 4-1 series triumph against the West Indies. In the post, he shared a photo of himself and MS Dhoni. It seems that the former Indian captain met with the all-rounder when he was in the United States, where the Indian side played the final two Twenty20 Internationals against the West Indies in Lauderhill, Florida.
Pandya is known to have a fraternal relationship with Dhoni, and he has already shown his adoration and regard for Dhoni in an open and public manner. The all-rounder uploaded a photo on Instagram and Twitter and accompanied it with a handful of emojis, making it clear that he was referring to the former captain as the best player of all time.

On the last day of the Twenty20 International series against the West Indies, which took place in Lauderhill, Florida, on August 7, Pandya captained India in lieu of Rohit Sharma, who was getting some rest and led the team to an 88-run triumph against the hosts.
After making the decision to bat first, the visitors were able to score a respectable 188 runs in their allotted 20 overs, with Shreyas Iyer contributing the most with a score of 64 off of only 40 balls. As the visitors drove their way to a par-plus total, Deepak Hooda hit 38 runs, and the captain himself chipped in with 28 runs during a cameo appearance.
Shimron Hetmyer was the only West Indian batter to respond positively, and he did it by standing strong among the destruction. All ten wickets were easily taken by the spin trio of Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravi Bishnoi, and the home team was unable to come up with an adequate response. It should be noted that this is the first time in the history of T20 Internationals that a side has lost all 10 wickets to spin.
Fast bowler Arshdeep Singh took home the award of Player of the Series as he collected seven wickets throughout the course of the series. Axar was named Player of the Match for his performance of 3/15.
