Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are yet to open their account in IPL 2022. Both teams have been involved in four games till now. Considering the success of these franchises in the past, it is surprising that MI & CSK are struggling this season. Meanwhile, former India opener Aakash Chopra has come up with a debatable comment regarding the situation. In this article, we take a look at what Aakash Chopra had to say after MI and CSK lose four straight games.

Before the commencement of the season, there were decent expectations from both CSK and MI. Although the teams did not look very strong, the core was retained and hence, many felt that both franchises would have it pretty easy in the tournament.

However, it has been a difficult ride for them so far. Be it while chasing or defending scores, both teams have struggled. The playing XI’s have lacked balance and the regular performers are yet to step up for the teams. Hence, MI & CSK are at the bottom of the table right now, with no points in their account.

Aakash Chopra has an interesting take

IPL 2022 saw the introduction of two new teams. Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans are the new entrants to the competition. With two more teams added, a few doubted if the quality of the competition would drop. However, that has not happened so far. In fact, the two teams have helped in the unearthing of raw talents. That said, with MI & CSK having it hard to qualify for the playoffs, Aakash Chopra had something interesting to say. Here is a look at it:
