“This is very usual with Malaysian Airlines, Why is BCCI allowing cricketers to fly using them?”, Twitter reacts as Deepak chahar complains of terrible experience in his flight from New Zealand to Bangladesh

Deepak Chahar, a fast bowler for India, may not be fully warmed up for Sunday’s first one-day international against Bangladesh because of his “terrible experience” flying with Malaysia Airlines. From Christchurch, New Zealand, Chahar, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Shardul Thakur, Rishabh Pant, and Washington Sundar were on a flight to Dhaka via Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Chahar was not served any food in business class and was upset that his trip had been rescheduled without warning. It is less than 24 hours till Sunday’s match, and the right-arm pacer has joined the Indian team in Mirpur, but he says he is still waiting for his baggage.

“Had a worse experience travelling with Malaysia airlines @MAS .first they changed our flight without telling us and no food in Business class. Now we have been waiting for our luggage from last 24hours. Imagine we have a game to play tomorrow,” Chahar tweeted on Saturday morning before team’s training session.

Chahar, a professional cricketer, complained that the Twitter link for filing a complaint that Malaysian Airlines provided him with did not function.

Whether or if Dhawan, Iyer, Shardul, Pant, and Washington, all members of the Indian cricket team, were put through the same trauma is unknown, since Chahar did not provide any information on the matter.

Due to the fact that experienced bowler Mohammed Shami will miss all three games of the ODI series against Bangladesh because of a shoulder injury, Chahar and Mohammed Siraj will likely bowl with the new ball.

Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli all return for the One-Day International series against Bangladesh. They were not present in the limited overs tour of New Zealand.
