Players in CSK have a winning record
CSK is one of the most successful franchises in the IPL. The team has always relied on experience to do the job for them. For the next season, too, it seems they are going in with the same tactic. On these lines, they spent big money to hire Ben Stokes, who brings with him a lot of experience and a winning mentality.
As we all know, Stokes was the MOTM in the 2019 CWC Final. Eight years ago, in 2011, it was MS Dhoni who took the same award. Ravindra Jadeja was the MOTM in the 2013 Champions Trophy Finals while Kyle Jamieson was the Player of the Match in the finals of the first World Test Championship. There are too many players in CSK who are capable of stepping up on the big stage. This could help them win the IPL next season.

CSK has a potent unit for IPL 2023
MS Dhoni’s CSK has a solid squad that can go all the way in IPL 2023. Firstly, their batting unit is strong and with the inclusion of Ben Stokes, it will be difficult to tackle the batters of CSK. Along with Stokes and Ruturaj, the team has Moeen Ali, MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja, all of whom are multi-dimensional cricketers. Ambati Rayudu and Shivam Dube also will feature in this line-up.
The team could have a few issues with the death bowling, though. Dwayne Bravo is not in the squad and hence, Dwaine Pretorius might be needed. In the spin department, Maheesh Theekshana is a certain inclusion with Jaddu and Moeen supporting him.
