Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise is known for its reputation for qualifying for the playoffs in the majority of the seasons. They failed to make it to the playoffs in the last two seasons, finishing at the bottom of the points table in IPL 2021 season and eighth in the IPL 2022 season.
Sunrisers Hyderabad ran through a major overhaul this time around. They released the players that don’t fit the bill. Brian Lara replaced Tom Moody as the head coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
For the record, Tom Moody was the SRH’s most successful coach from 2013 to 2019. During his spell at the club, the team won the title in the IPL 2016 and also qualified for the playoffs on five occasions.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will be looking forward to doing well in the upcoming season of the IPL. Aiden Markram will lead the team from the front and will be looking to bring the best out of his teammates.
Sunrisers Hyderabad unveil their new jersey for IPL 2023
Meanwhile, the Orange Army hogged the limelight after they unveiled their new jersey for the upcoming season of the IPL. Interestingly, they came up with a creative video clip to disclose their kit.
The video clip begins with Mayank Agarwal, Washington Sundar and Umran Malik saying “no” to SRH’s jersey reveal shoot. Apparently, the discussion takes place on WhatsApp according to the clip.
When the admin of the group asks them “then what?”, the three SRH players want the jersey to be cool, fun and fiery. Then the next scene of the video clip shows the new look of the Sunrisers Hyderabad jersey.
For the first time, this SRH jersey looks a bid different as compared to that of the previous jerseys. Meanwhile, SRH will begin their campaign on April 2 as they will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
