Australia and New Zealand are currently locking horns in the first game of the Super 12 stage. Asked to bat first, the Black Caps were off the flyer as Fin Allen came out all guns blazing and made a mockery of the Australian bowling attack.

He smashed Mitchell Starc for 14 runs in the first over and carried on the momentum. Allen played a fiery knock of 42 runs in just 16 balls. He along with Devon Conway stitched 56 runs for the opening partnership and gave New Zealand a staggering start.

However, after that skipper, Kane Williamson struggled in the middle and looked clueless. He played a slow inning of 23 runs and turned the momentum towards Australia. His innings put the Black Caps on the back foot. But thanks to Conway (92*)  and Jimmy Neesham (26*), who played good innings and helped their side post a total of 200 runs on the board.
