History tells us that low-scoring affairs produce the juice and perfect tonic to the fans. It doesn’t matter if it’s a modest total, there is literally nothing that can stop the bowlers from defending the total if they bowl to their strengths.

The game between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals taught everyone that anything is possible if the bowling unit executes their plans at the right time when it mattered the most.

Despite only posting a low total of 130 runs on the board, David Warner made use of the bowlers to better effect. He rotated the bowlers at the right time and hence the tactics paid off.

Aman Hakim Khan was the pick of the batters for Delhi Capitals as he scored runs in the need of the hour. When Delhi Capitals lost too many wickets, Aman played a major role by scoring 51 off 44 balls (3 fours, 3 sixes).

In response to Delhi Capitals’ target, Gujarat Titans got off to a poor start, courtesy of terrific bowling spells by Delhi Capitals’ bowlers who mounted pressure on GT batters as the game progressed.

Khaleel Ahmed bowled an exceptional maiden over as he registered 2/24 in his quota of 4 overs. In the end, Hardik Pandya took the game to the deep by scoring a fifty. Besides that Rahul Tewatia also gave a ray of hope for the hosts in the run-chase.
