
While the T20 World Cup 2022 fever is on, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have set their eyes on the future and has announced that they will host the Indian Cricket Team for the three-match ODI series and the two-match Test series in December this year.
India’s tour of Bangladesh will begin with three-match ODI series that will be played from 4th December in Mirpur whereas two Test matches will be played in Chattogram on 14th December and Mirpur on 22nd December respectively. This will be the first time since 2015 India will tour Bangladesh.
Both the ODI and Test series will hold extreme importance in the context of the ICC ODI Super League and World Test Championship. Both the teams would want to give their best and better their positions in the respective points table.

BCB President, Nazmul Hassan was delighted to announce the games between the two teams. Speaking about the series, he said:
“The Bangladesh-India matches in recent history have given us some epic contests and fans from both countries are eagerly waiting for another memorable series. I thank the Board of Control for Cricket in India for working closely with the BCB in confirming the schedule. We look forward to welcoming the Indian team to Bangladesh,”

BCCI secretary Jay Shah also talked about the series between Bangladesh and India. He said that he is hoping both teams to fight hard for the win. Realising the official statement, he said:
“I extend my best wishes to the Bangladesh Cricket Board for the upcoming bilateral series featuring India. The India-Bangladesh contests generate tremendous interest among the fans thanks to the massive fan following the two teams enjoy.
“We know how passionate the fans in Bangladesh are, and I am sure they will be treated to some exhilarating contests both in white-ball and red-ball cricket. With the crucial World Test Championship points at stake, the two Test matches are very important and both teams will go hard for the win.”
