Gujarat Titans will look to defend the title
After the conclusion of IPL 2022 Auctions, not many gave a chance to GT. Many felt that the team lacked balance and there were many out-of-form cricketers on the side. However, Hardik Pandya and Ashish Nehra kept things simple and eventually led the side to the title. It happens to be one of the best stories that IPL has produced.
The franchise has further strengthened the side for IPL 2023. While Kane Williamson would play for them, KS Bharat would come in as the more concrete wicket-keeping option. In the bowling unit, GT has added Shivam Mavi. He is a brilliant addition to the franchise. Josh Little from Ireland will also play for the unit. It needs to be seen how the Irishman would perform in IPL 2023.
