Sunrisers Hyderabad are currently placed ninth on the IPL 2023 points table and their route to qualify for the playoffs has gotten slimmer. However, they wouldn’t worry about that too much in the first place.

All that they require now is five wins out of the five games and they must be focusing only this scenario at first. If this happens, they will end up at a maximum of 16 points.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have some tough games up ahead as they will have to play against Rajasthan Royals, Lucknow Super Giants, Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians.

SRH will take on Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium on May 7 (Sunday). Now, in this article, we will now take a look at the two changes that Sunrisers Hyderabad should make for their next game against Rajasthan Royals.

1. Drop Harry Brook for Glenn Phillips

Apart from the dashing century against KKR earlier, Harry Brook hasn’t done enough to beef up the team’s attack. SRH should drop him for the next game and must give attacking batter Glenn Phillips a chance.

He is a wicketkeeper-batsman but with Heinrich Klaasen already taken up the role, Glenn must play the role of a pure batsman in the middle-order in place of Harry Brook. Let’s not forget that Glenn Phillips has a strike rate of 144.7 in T20Is.

2. Drop Kartik Tyagi for Adil Rashid

As a franchise, it is absolutely imperative to take bold calls when it matters the most. Kartik Tyagi wasn’t at his imperious best while playing against Kolkata Knight Riders in the last game at home.

Although he took a wicket, he conceded 30 runs in 2 overs at an economy of 15. Sunrisers Hyderabad must stick to the experienced leg-spinner Adil Rashid who will come in handy on the Jaipur wicket which assists spin too.
