IPL 2025 will resume from this Saturday. Almost every team is affected by the break in the tournament. With the playoffs around, a few franchises will have to stay attentive and win games and ensure that they progress forward. Here, we take a look at the list of two playoff contenders who could be the least affected by the break in IPL 2025.
1) Gujarat Titans may not be affected by the break in IPL 2025
Jos Buttler is not a part of the Test setup. Hence, he is not too important for the Test setup, and hence, his fitness is not being monitored. As per reports, he is coming back to GT to play for them again. Also, the likes of Rabada and Coetzee did not play a big role for GT. Rashid Khan will remain, and hence, GT is not affected much.
2) Punjab Kings
As per reports, PBKS will not be missing their major players for the next phase of IPL 2025. Marco Jansen is a concern, but as per reports, he will join the side again. Anyways, PBKS have not been dependent a lot on foreign cricketers. Hence, their job will the same as before. Hence, Punjab will have a good chance to win IPL 2025.
