Middle-Order: Rishabh Pant (WK), Suryakumar Yadav (C)

Rishabh Pant slotted in at No.3 at the World Cup. The management is unlikely to tinker with this idea. He will keep wickets with Sanju Samson being his backup. SKY will operate at No.4. It will be interesting to see how he performs as a captain.

All-Rounders: Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel and Washington Sundar

It will be a strong group of all-rounders for India’s strongest T20I for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka. India will have some fine all-rounders for this series. While Dube and Hardik will appear at No.5 & No.6, the likes of Axar and Sundar will bat as per the situation. They will have to work on at least 10 overs of bowling.

Siraj and Arshdeep will lead the pace attack for this XI. It will be a key series for Siraj. If he fails to perform, he might, as well, drop out from the T20 setup. Ravi Bishnoi has got the chance as the lead spinner and he must try to cement his spot.
