As per reports, Suryakumar Yadav is likely to be appointed as the next Indian T20I skipper. In 2013, he was the captain of the squad that played in the Asia Emerging Cup. India won that trophy. Here, we take a look at three players Suryakumar Yadav captained in the 2013 Asia Emerging Trophy and might captain them again in the senior side.

1) KL Rahul

KL Rahul was the lead scorer back in that series. At the moment, KL is not a part of the T20I setup. However, you cannot rule out his comeback.

KL is a quality cricketer and he would be desperate to return to this form. All he needs is just one good IPL season with an excellent strike-rate and he would be in the plans in the playing XI.

2) Jasprit Bumrah
