The lack of an all-rounder has hampered Rajasthan Royals in quite a few moments. If the Impact Player rule is withdrawn, RR must get a new all-rounder. They will not be able to have 5 pure bowlers in the side. If there is a Mega Auction, their job gets easier to find one. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three all-rounders Rajasthan Royals can realistically target in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions.
1) Marcus Stoinis
Marcus Stoinis may not be retained by LSG if there is a Mega Auction. Although he performed well, Stoinis has been inconsistent and he is also 34 years old.
For RR, though, he would be the ideal fit at No.5 or No.5. He could take up the role of Rovman Powell in the team right now. When needed, he can also roll his arm over, giving the much-needed balance to the side.
2) Mitchell Marsh
Mitchell Marsh is one of the all-rounders Rajasthan Royals can realistically target in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. If not for his injury concerns, Mitchell Marsh would have done well in the IPL. Nevertheless, he still has a chance to become an established IPL player.
Yes, he does not offer much with the ball these days. That said, even two overs from your sixth bowler is a good backup to have. Marsh can do that. Of course, on his day, he can easily win you the game with the bat.
3) Ben Stokes
Ben Stokes could be available for the next few seasons of IPL. Going by his current contract with the ECB, it is unlikely that he will play for a long time for them.
Stokes has played for RR before. He can be the team’s finisher at No.5, although Stokes would be more suited in the top-order in the T20 format.
